CAM Advises The Indian Hotels Company Limited On Merger With Oriental Hotels Limited

IHCL merged with its associate company, Oriental Hotels Limited by way of a Scheme of Arrangement, approved by the boards of both companies on August 24, 2026.
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted as legal counsel to The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) on the merger of its associate company, Oriental Hotels Limited (OHL), with and into IHCL by way of a Scheme of Arrangement, approved by the boards of both companies on August 24, 2026.
The share exchange ratio is 25 equity shares of IHCL for every 117 equity shares of OHL, on an all-stock basis, with completion targeted in the second half of FY2028 and an Appointed Date of April 1, 2027.
