The High Court Bar Association of Allahabad (HCBA) on Friday wrote to the Chief Justice of the High Court, informing him that the association has resolved to boycott the court of a judge from Monday, July 11, for his alleged 'misbehavior' and use of 'abusive language' with the advocates in the court.

The letter states that the Bar Association was continuously receiving complaints from advocates against the judge and the Chief Justice had also been informed by the Association regarding the judge's behavior.

The resolution alleges that apart from the misbehaving, the judge has been abruptly dismissing cases without a fair hearing.

In relation to this, the officials of the Bar Association made repeated requests to the judge from Monday to Friday, but there was no change in his behavior and style of work, the resolution reads.

It adds that being hurt by the dogma of the judge, an emergency meeting was called by the Executive Committee, which was presided over by Senior Advocate and President Radhakant Ojha, organized by Senior Vice President Manoj Kumar Mishra and operated by General Secretary Satyadhir Singh Jadaun, in which, a resolution was passed unanimously that it is possible to work in the court of such dogmatic judge.

"Therefore, respecting the general assembly, it was decided to boycott the court of the judge from 11.07.2022," it states.
