Please seeks release of NEET-PG 2021 question paper and answer key, Supreme Court issues notice
Supreme Court on Friday issued notice in a plea over the alleged discrepancy in NEET PG 2021 scores and not releasing the answer key and question paper of the NEET PG 2021 Examination.
A divisional bench of Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice BV Nagarathna said that the reason behind the non-disclosure may be a limited question bank.
However, Senior Advocate Gopal Sankaranarayanan said that a completely different approach is being practiced for the NEET PG aspirants as compared to the NEET UG aspirants.
"For some reason, a completely different method has been adopted with us. We don’t get to keep our question paper, answer sheets, or the answer key," Sankaranarayanan added.
The bench has issued notice in the petition while directing the National Board of Examination to respond.
The plea filed by the doctors who appeared for the NEET PG 2021 sought direction to the authorities to release the question paper and answer key of the NEET PG 2021 candidates.
The petitioners have further stated that the candidates be allowed the option of revaluation/ rechecking in case of discrepancy in their scores.
