Centre notifies transfer of two more judges

The Central Government today issued notifications transferring two more high court judges. 

They are:

1. Justice Munishwar Nath Bhandari of the Allahabad High Court to the Madras High Court; and
2. Justice Satish Kumar Sharma of the Rajasthan High Court to the Madhya Pradesh High Court

The transfer orders have been issued by the President while exercising the powers mentioned under clause (1) of Article 222 of the Constitution of India.

Justice Bhandari was appointed as Judge of the High Court of Rajasthan on July 5, 2007. He was transferred to Allahabad High Court and took oath as its Judge on March 15, 2019.

He also performed the duties of the office of the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court from June 26, 2021 to Oct 10, 2021.

Justice Sharma was elevated to the bench on March 6, 2020.
