AZB & Partners Advises Premier Energies Limited On RCT Nexor Energy Joint Venture
AZB has advised on the joint venture plans to establish a 12 GWh BESS manufacturing facility at Seetharampur, Telangana.
AZB & Partners advised Premier Energies Limited on its joint venture with RCT Nexor Energy, part of RCT Group, Germany, for setting up a 12 GWh BESS manufacturing facility.
Premier Battery Technologies Pvt Ltd (PBTPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Premier Energies, signed the agreement on October 15, 2026, with RCT Nexor Energy Pvt Ltd, formerly known as RCT Energy India Pvt Ltd, and Premier Energies Storage Solutions Pvt Ltd (PESSPL), the joint venture company.
The joint venture plans to establish a 12 GWh BESS manufacturing facility at Seetharampur, Telangana. The first phase, involving a 6 GWh plant, is expected to be set up in FY2027-28. The facility is intended to manufacture and assemble BESS products for residential, small-business, commercial, industrial and utility-scale applications.
The agreement sets out the ownership and governance structure of the venture. PESSPL is currently a wholly owned subsidiary of PBTPL.
