Trilegal Advises Assetz On Proposed INR 6,300 million IPO

Trilegal has advised on proposed initial public offering (IPO) of equity shares comprising a fresh issue and an offer for sale by existing shareholders.
Trilegal advised Assetz Limited and certain selling shareholders as their Indian legal counsel in connection with the company’s proposed initial public offering (IPO) of equity shares comprising a fresh issue and an offer for sale by existing shareholders.
Assetz is a Bengaluru-based residential real estate developer focused on the premium housing segment. The proposed IPO comprises a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating up to ₹6,300 million and an offer for sale of up to 29,079,263 equity shares by the selling shareholders. The Pre-filed Draft Red Herring Prospectus (P-DRHP) was filed with SEBI on 30 July 2026.
The proposed IPO is reportedly pegged at around Rs 1,200 crore, with JM Financial, BofA Securities India and Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors expected to act as the book-running lead managers.
According to real estate consultants, the company has, over the years, raised project-level capital from investors and financial institutions, including JP Morgan, Aditya Birla Capital, Motilal Oswal Alternates and HDFC Ltd. It has reportedly raised and repaid more than Rs 1,000 crore in capital over the years.
