The Allahabad High Court on Wednesday directed S.P.Traffic, Prayagraj to appear before the Court on September 23 with appropriate plan to manage the traffic and parking around the High Court.

The bench of Justice Saurabh Shyam Shamshery issued the direction while dealing with an application under Section 482 CrPC.

The bench was apprised by Advocate Saher Naqvi that she had to park her car 1 kilometer away from the gate of the High Court owing to haphazardly parked number of vehicles around the High Court.

She informed the court that she had to run the distance so that her case would not be dismissed for want of prosecution. She further informed that she saw few police personnel present on the road who were unable to manage the jam and parking of vehicles.

Taking note of the issues raised by Naqvi, court asked other counsels present in the courtroom regarding the same.

Court noted that Senior Counsel Amrendra Nath Singh who was present in the court at the moment also echoed Naqvi’s plight and requested the court to pass appropriate direction in this regard.

Considering the same, Court issued the abovesaid direction to SP traffic, Prayagraj and posted the matter for September 23, 2022, at 10 am for further hearing.

Moreover, court asked Senior Counsel Amrendra Nath Singh to be present on the next date fixed to assist the court.
