Celina Jaitly has also approached court alleging domestic violence, seeking ₹50 crore compensation from husband.

The complaint seeks an investigation into Haag's acts of cheating, criminal misappropriation, criminal breach of trust, wrongful confinement and outraging the modesty of a woman amongst other offences.

Celina Jaitly, former Ms. India winner and well known Bollywood actress, has now filed a criminal complaint against her husband Peter Haag seeking an investigation into his acts of cheating, criminal misappropriation, criminal breach of trust, wrongful confinement and outraging the modesty of a woman amongst other offences in the Versova Police Station on December 11, 2025.

In a case filed by actress Celina Jaitly Haag against her husband Peter Haag under the Domestic Violence Act, the Court of SC Tadye, Judicial Magistrate First Class, Andheri, Mumbai, adjourned the matter to 27th January, 2026 giving both parties time to file their income affidavits and Mr. Haag time to file his reply, after which both parties will be heard.

Jaitly has filed a case under the Domestic Violence Act against Haag, alleging domestic violence, cruelty, and manipulation. She has also sought Rs 50 crore as compensation, claiming loss of earnings due to his conduct. In November when the matter had come up before the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Andheri, for verification and issuance of notice after verifying the complaint, the Court had directed that notice be issued to Haag.

In her petition, Jaitly has alleged that her husband is a “narcissistic” and “self-absorbed” individual who “shows no empathy” towards her or their children. She states that she suffered sustained emotional, physical, sexual, and verbal abuse, which eventually compelled her to leave their home in Austria and return to India. The actress has sought ₹10 lakh per month as maintenance and has requested that the court restrain Haag from entering her Mumbai residence. She has also sought custody of their three children, who are currently residing with Haag in Austria.

Addressing the proceedings in an Instagram post, the actor had said, "In my darkest hour, the legal force to reckon with, Karanjawala & Co, became the shield I needed to fight for my dignity and rights. I am so grateful for their unwavering understanding and protection. As my matter is sub judice, I am unable to make any comments at this time. I kindly request you to contact my legal representatives for any official information or statements.”

Ms. Celina Jaitly is represented by a team of advocates from Karanjawala and Co., comprising of Mr. Sandeep Kapur, Senior Partner, Ms. Niharika Karanjawala Misra, Principal Associate, Ms. Rytim Vohra Ahuja, Senior Associate as well as Mumbai local lawyers Mr. Arpan Rajput and Ms. Hinal Sanghvi.
