Mumbai Court Grants Bail To Sapna Gill And 3 Others For Assaulting Cricketer Prithvi Shaw
The police had lodged a complaint against the influencer and other accused based on the video recordings which had gone viral on social media
A Mumbai Court at Andheri has granted bail to influencer Sapna Gill and three others in the assault case registered against them by Cricketer Prithvi Shaw.
The magistrate court at Andheri granted bail to 4 accused in the case today.
The Oshiwara Police had registered an FIR against the social media influencer and three others after Shaw filed a complaint against them for assaulting him
As per the complaint Shaw had alleged that Sapna with her friends came to Shaw and her friend at Sahara Star Hotel and asked for click selfies. When Shaw refused to click more selfies the 4 accused misbehaved with him
Subsequently, Gill and 3 other accused began to harass shaw. When Shaw and her friend left the hotel, he was followed by Gill and her friends.
It was also alleged that one of the accused broke the windshield of Shaw's car and the influencer threatened Shaw that she would file a false complaint against him and also demanded 50 Thousand.
Based on the video recordings the Oshiwara Police Station had booked the 4 accused under the Indian Penal Code 1860
