Bombay HC quashes FIR against Former Secretary of Priyanka Chopra

The High Court quashed the FIR against the secretary of Priyanka Chopra after they informed that they've settled the dispute.
The Division Bench of the Bombay High Court comprising Justice Revari Mohite Dere and Justice PK Chavan recently quashed an FIR against Prakash Jaju, former secretary of Actress Priyanka Chopra.
Advocate Rahul Agarawal for Priyanka Chopra submitted before the court that Jaju had approached Chopra for a settlement and gave an unconditional apology to her. The court however directed Prakash Jaju to deposit a sum of Rs. 50000 to the Police Welfare fund.
Priyanka Chopra appeared before the court through video conferencing from the United States and informed the court that she had accepted the apology.
The case pertains to the 2008 text messages which were exchanged between Jaju and Chopra wherein allegedly objectionable messages were sent by Jaju to Chopra.
Subsequently, a case was registered by Chopra against Jaju for criminal intimidation and outraging the modesty of a woman. A criminal complaint was also made before the magistrate.
Subsequently, Jaju filed a writ petition before the High Court for quashing the FIR and criminal proceedings before the magistrate.
The said dispute was with respect to services given by Jaju to Chopra and the differences between them with respect to certain due amounts which led to multiple proceedings.
There was another complaint that was filed at Andheri Magistrate Court by Chopra's father which was settled by a Lok Adalat.
