Later, Pansare’s daughter moved the high court seeking a court-monitored probe due to slow progress in the trial. She had contended that the murderers of Pansare were interlinked in the killing of other accused including Narendra Dhabolkar and Gauri Lankesh.
The high court passed the order stating that the court's monitoring of the trial is no longer required. However, the high court said that the trial court shall expedite the trial and hear the case daily.
