Sambhal Court Issues Notice To Rahul Gandhi Over "Fighting Indian State" Remark

A local court at Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, issued notice to Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi, and sought his response in connection with remarks allegedly made by him referring to "fighting the Indian state itself."
The notice was issued by Additional District Judge (ADJ-II) Aarti Faujdar following a complaint filed by Simran Gupta, the national president of the Hindu Shakti Dal.
The complaint pertains to a statement made by Gandhi during the inauguration of the Congress party’s new headquarters in New Delhi on January 15. During his address, Gandhi reportedly stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) had "captured every institution of the country." He further remarked, "We are now fighting the BJP, the RSS and the Indian state itself."
