Synopsis

A Public Interest Litigation has been filed before the Bombay High Court seeking an investigation against Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan by the CBI for giving a bribe to former NCB officer Sameer Wankhede.

The plea has been filed by one Rashid Khan Pathan through Advocate Abhishek Mishra, Advocate Pooja Shah and Advocate Haina Shiekh.

The plea has sought the addition of Bollywood Actor Shah Rukh Khan and his son to be added as accused in the case wherein the former NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede is being probed.

Further, it seeks registration of separate FIR by CBI against the Mumbai Police Officials who had given a clean chit to Sameer Wankhede and others for corruption and bribe. The plea states that the Mumbai Police had misused the public machinery, property and resources to save the accused for unauthorised purposes.

Additionally, the PIL seeks interrogation of Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan, and Sameer Wankhede through scientific methods like narco test, polygraph test, etc.

"Direct Respondent No.3 CBI to take help of scientific tests while interrogating Respondent No.1 Shah Rukh Khan, Respondent No.2 Aryan Shah Rukh Khan, Respondent No.5 Shri. Sameer Wankhede, other accused officials of NCB, accused police officers of Mumbai Police and all the accused persons and witnesses and subject them to tests like Narco- Analysis Test, Lie Detector Test, Brain Mapping Test, etc., to unearth the complete conspiracy and to bring truth to the surface," the plea reads.

The plea also states that Shah Rukh Khan and Aryan Khan were accused of giving bribes and therefore they should be made parties.

"As per C.B.I's own report the Respondent No.1 Shah Rukh Khan and his son i.e. Respondent No.2 Aryan Shah Rukh Khan are accused of abating offences of corruption by settling bribe amount of Rs.18 Crore and making payment of Rs. 50 Lakhs as part payment. Therefore, they should be impleaded as accused as per Section 12 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988," the plea states.
