Supreme Court Collegium Recommends 6 Judicial Officers And 2 Advocates For Elevation As Judges In Bombay High Court

Synopsis

The Supreme Court collegium recommended 6 Judicial Officers and 2 Advocates as the Judges of Bombay High Court in the meeting held on 7th September and 12th September respectively.

The Collegium of the Supreme Court has approved the proposal for elevation of eight new Judges for the Bombay High Court.

In the meeting on 7th September, the Supreme Court Collegium approved the proposal for elevation of six Judicial Officers:

1. Shri Sanjay Anandrao Deshmukh,

2. Shri Yanshivraj Gopichand Khobragade,

3. Shri Mahendra Wadhumal Chandwani,

4. Shri Abhay Sopanrao Waghwase,

5. Shri Ravindra Madhusudan Joshi, and

6. Smt.Vrushali @ Shubhangi Vijay Joshi.

While in the meeting on 12th September, the Collegium approved the proposal for two Advocates:

1. Shri Santosh Govindrao Chapalgaonkar, and

2. Shri Milind Manohar Sathaye
