Hindu Sena President writes to CJI NV Ramana seeking suo moto action against vandalisation of 3 Temples in Jharkhand

The National President of the Hindu Sena, Vishnu Gupta has written a letter to the Chief Justice of India to initiate suo moto proceedings against the vandalization of 3 temples and anti-Hindu communal riots in Jharkhand on June 10, 2022.

The letter states that the incident has taken place at the behest of radical Islamist and extremist groups.

It states that the 3 temples including Sankat Mochan Temple, Mahaveer Temple and Surya Mandir were attacked in Rachi during violence on June 10, 2022. 

In addition to this, the letter further informs CJI Ramana that petrol bombs were thrown at the temple on the intervening night of June 10th and June 11th. Two people were killed while ten were injured amid violent protests against the controversial remarks made by Ex- BJP leader, Nupur Sharma and Navin Jindal for supporting her statement, it states.

The letter further reads, "The police forces were forced to open fire as the rioters pelted stones at them and broke the vehicles. According to some reports, there was firing from rioters as well."

However, instead of condemning, the Jharkhand Congress MLA namely Irfan Ansari had demanded Rs. 50 Lakhs and Govt. jobs for kins of the rioters killed in Ranchi, the letter adds.

In this regard, the demands suo moto action keeping in view the national and secular image of India.
