SC Collegium recommends appointment of two advocates and one judicial officer as judges; reiterates names of five advocates and six judicial officers

The Supreme Court Collegium has recently issued notifications for appointment of judicial officers and advocates as judges of high courts across the country.

The names so recommended are:

Andhra Pradesh High Court:

Advocate: Dr. K. Manmadha Rao
Judicial Officer: Ms. B.S. Bhanumathi

Delhi High Court:

Advocate Saurabh Kirpal

The Collegium has also reiterated its earlier recommendation for elevation of following.

Delhi High Court: (Advocates)

1. Ms. Tara Vitasta Ganju,
2. Shri Anish Dayal,
3. Shri Amit Sharma, and
4. Ms. Mini Pushkarna.

Calcutta High Court: (Judicial Officers)

1. Ms. Ananya Bandyopadhyay,
2. Mrs. Rai Chattopadhyay, and
3. Shri Subhendu Samanta

Kerala High Court: (Judicial Officers)

1. Smt. Shoba Annamma Eapen,
2. Smt. Sanjeetha Kalloor Arakkal, and
3. Shri Aravinda Kumar Babu Thavarakkattil.

Chhattisgarh High Court:
