The Supreme Court on Friday refused to entertain Public Interest Litigation seeking transfer of all FIRs filed against actress Kangana Ranaut for her outraging statements against the Sikh Community.

A bench of Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice Bela M Trivedi said to the petitioner, "You are a third party, it can be done on the behest of the accused."

The PIL has been filed by Adv. Charanjeet Singh Chanderpal, whereas, Chanderpal appearing in person said, "We go to the Gurdwara, when we go sit with them there are so many complaints, I'm in tears by the way she has said this."

The tweets herein discussed were published after the Prime Minister Narendra Modi repealed the three disputed Farm Laws. Ranaut allegedly tweeted, "Sad, shameful, absolutely unfair. If people on the streets have started to make laws and not the chosen government in the Parliament, then even this is a jihadi nation. Congratulations to all who wanted it like this."

It is further alleged that Kangana blanketly called all Sikhs as Khalistani terrorists and farmers protest as "Khalistani" movement.

However, Justice Chandrachud said, "Don't politicize it, the more you talk about it the more you serve her cause."

"Please rest assured that certainly, we do not subscribe to any such...you have to seek your remedies under the law," Justice Chandrachud added.

However, Chanderpal further added, "I was at the Singhu border, there is nothing as Khalistani about it, three or four times she has done this."

The bench disposed of the plea considering the request of the counsel that withdrawing the plea would be a disrespect to the community. In addition to this the bench further disposed of the prayer-seeking clubbing of the FIRs noting that the same was not pressed.
