Sanjay Raut is being probed by the ED for the alleged financial irregularities in the redevelopment of Patra Chawl, and related financial property transactions involving Raut's wife and alleged associates.
On Monday, a Special Court, PMLA, Mumbai, extended Sanjay Raut's judicial custody by 14 days in the Patra Chawl Scam.
The court had asked the advocate appearing for ED to submit a copy of the charge sheet to the accused.
The advocate for the accused submitted before the court that he had already concluded his arguments and would inform the court if the additional application would be filed for additional grounds to be included in the supplementary charge sheet that is filed by the ED which was shared with the accused today.
The ED has filed a supplementary charge sheet of more than 1000 pages in which the ED has named Sanjay Raut as the accused.
The Court has extended the judicial custody of Sanjay Raut for 14 days.
Earlier Raut was sent to judicial custody on 8th August for 14 days, after which his custody was extended till 5th September, which was again extended till 19th September.
